Around 20 years ago I became interested in becoming a driving instructor. Unfortunately at that time I was unable to proceed
ahead as the cost of training was too expensive. Just eight years later however I had the opportunity to take the first steps to becoming a driving instructor. Passing my training to DVSA standards I began working in and around the Exeter area, coaching pupils to what would be one of their most challenging and life changing experiences. Fast forward to today and I am so proud to have my own driving school built upon my beliefs and standards, confirming my decision to change career as a good one.
Nothing has changed with regards to my focus with the pupil and it remains as it was from day one, to provide quality driving tuition. I've enjoyed teaching so many different pupils to achieve the highest standard ready for their driving test and I look forward to helping many many more!

Hello I'm Allan Taylor, I've been a driving instructor for over 12 years.I'm a grade A instructor and a Fleet Driver Trainer.
Teaching someone safe driving skills and seeing the look on their face when they pass their test gives me immense satisfaction that I've never had from any other job. Ever pupil is different as is every lesson and that fact makes for a varied and enjoyable work day.

Away from work, I'm an Exeter City fan, the first 40 years are the worst! Apart from every home game, I travel to about 10 away games each season, often staying fir the weekend at those games that are a fair distance away.

Travel is another passion of mine and I have been lucky enough to have visited many varied and far flung places,Australia, New Zealand, Venezuela, Canada and South Africa to name a few. However South East Asia is my favourite region and I have spent years visiting Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

I have a lively sense of humour and try to create a relaxed learning environment during lessons.
